When the universe needs you to grow, it will make you uncomfortable.

Your feelings rise to the surface hot and fast as though they will break the skin.

You throat may be tight, your voice may quiver, and your eyes will no doubt water.

You will feel drained and find the need to build a safe space--your personal cocoon so your busy legs can stop running and you may finally rest.

And rest you will.

And you may emerge weak and scared.

But you will emerge.

And when you do I pray that you swallow the fear and step into the light.

Because feeling afraid is the first step to love.

That inkling in the pit of your stomach is the budding of a rose.

And so you may emerge shaky and fragile.

But because you are worthy,

You will emerge.
